Why is the African Women’s NFT Collection Important and What Does it Stand to Achieve?

From time immemorial, Africa has been known for its rich culture, and vast natural resources, which include her safari, which has birthed various expressive artistic forms with the use of the Renaissance method to recreate creative pictures of Africa and to the latest use of technology like AI (Artificial Intelligence) to recreate such. 

It cannot go without saying that Africa is still in her youthful prime, and during her growth, she has witnessed the rise and fall of kingdoms, empires, and also her share of tyrants and powerful monarchs, but she has always come out stronger. 

In every society, women are the propelling force, driving the men. As a native saying goes, “beside every successful man is always a woman.” Men have gone into battles because of women, and the empire has risen and fallen due to the influence of women, all around the world. The influence of women can be seen in history books. Although the influence of women cannot be measured, in Africa, due to some traditions and customs, women and the girl’s child are given little or less importance, say, and encouragement in the society. 

In light of this, The Empowering African Future Club, in collaboration with Develop Africa, has created an NFT-oriented initiative titled “African Women’s NFT Collection.” This NFT-oriented initiative aims to support girls’ education in Africa – the birthplace of the ArtisticWarmth initiative.

The African Women’s NFT Collection is essential because:

• It creates a blending of pure and original African art and culture with philanthropy to  celebrate African Women’s strength and beauty
• It stands to empower and support the African girls’ child education across the continent
• It aids the development and support of Art in Sierra Leone
• It is a funding source for educational initiatives that benefit the girls in Africa, creating a brighter and more equitable future for them and their communities.
